Toyota Prius supplies continue to improve faster than expected and Prius supplies should be back to about 80 percent of normal by the end of July.

Last weekend I went on a small hybrid shopping venture to check out the supplies of Japanese hybrid cars, and found some good news. Toyota Prius supplies were at their best level in months.

And according to the nation’s largest Prius dealer, supplies are increasing fast and should be back to about 80 percent this month.

Even better, Toyota continues to claim that the earthquake-caused supply shortage continues to improve faster than expected. For instance, while Toyota has secured 36,000 Prius hybrids for the US market for the next 3 months, the company continues to hint that even more Prii are almost certainly on the way.
