T.27 for ID10T’s Only?

Small cars could make life for Americans a lot easier by reducing not just fueling costs, but vehicle costs. Vehicles like the T.27 electric car can be world cars.

Ugliest, smallest, smartest car ever.

Or is it the idiots that don’t get it?

How ugly is the Murray T.27  electric car? Just look for yourself.

It’s so small it could fit in the back of most American vehicles, yet it might be the smartest vehicle idea on the planet.

Seriously, what do Americans really achieve with the cars we purchase?

One of richest men in the world, Warren Buffett, likes to buy used cars that he can hold onto for a long time. Why? Because cars are one of the biggest wealth-suckers in the United Stated according to Buffett.

Just look around at the cars people drive in your neighborhood. In my LA neighborhood it isn’t uncommon for people to pay far more for a car payment than for housing. That’s insanity. And for most, it’s the surest way to a lifetime of financial worries or even the poorhouse.

What are we really getting for our money?

Do we really look that cool or feel that good about ourselves just because of the car we drive? I guess beauty is only skin deep.

On the other hand, take a look at something like the T.27 electric car (there’s also a conventional gas version as well) going through its crash tests with flying colors, but that’s just the beginning of its potential.

The man behind the Murray T.27 is Gordon Murray, famous for the McLaren F1. Through Murray’s “iStream manufacturing process which promises facilities which are 20% the size of a traditional factory and require 80% less capital investment,” according to Straightline, one can imagine ultra cheap cars, even electric ones.

With such cheap, safe cars and minimal fueling costs, who needs to play the lottery any more?

Isn’t it time to be a smart country, instead of just a greedy, materialistic one?

Sure, the US consumer probably won’t ever get the T.27, but you can be sure that emerging markets – the FUTURE of the auto industry – will.
