LPG conversion kit for Tahoe hybrid available

Geiger Cars is now offering a liquified petroleum gas (LPG) conversion kit for GM’s Chevy Tahoe hybrid.
The new conversion kit costs $5,000, but offers Tahoe hybrid drivers the ability to cut in half the fueling costs of the 21 mpg SUV.
Still, as InsideLine points out, total vehicle costs including the conversion kit equal about $76,000.
Thus, if this is the future of the SUV, there probably isn’t much future left.
Liquefied petroleum gas can be useful in many ways. And it is a good idea that you can gas a LPG in a car. Today, crude oil increases it’s price almost every week so we badly need a substitute for crude oil.
Liquefied petroleum gas is a convenient energy source used for many purposes including for heating and cooking, as well as for vehicle fuel. Forty per cent of LPG comes from refining crude oil and 60% comes from field production
