Admit it, you're a snob. You drive only luxury vehicles. Just kidding.

Still, just because luxury cars are your vice doesn't mean that you can't embrace fuel economy, and this morning Cars.com has put forth their favorite ten fuel efficient luxury vehicles.

While hybrid cars don't dominate the list, they are the most fuel efficient selections on the list. The Lexus RX 450h ranked 6th and the Lexus HS 250h ranked 4th.

Gaining ground in Europe?

Hybrid cars probably won't become major players in Europe until they are offered in diesel versions. Nonetheless, three hybrids are up for the 2010 Car of the Year in Europe. The new third generation Toyota Prius, Lexus RX450h, and Honda Insight were all given a nod in Europe this year.

RX 450 hybrid 20 percent more efficient than RX 400h

32/28 MPG City/Highway

In recent weeks I've received a number of Lexus RX 400h hybrid testimonials that have strongly complained about the real world fuel efficiency of the first Lexus hybrid.

Lexus has been listening.

The RX 450h, which will replace the RX 400h, will be 20 percent more fuel efficient than the original 400h, improving from 27/24 mpg on the city/highway cycle to 32/28.

Likewise, Cars.com reports that the new Lexus will offer "better acceleration and cold-weather operability, plus reduced vibrations and noise."
