Just two weeks left for best Toyota Prius deals ever
Best month ever to buy a Prius winding down
Earlier this month Wards reported that December could be the best month ever to buy a Toyota Prius, and I’ve been meaning to head out to a few Toyota dealerships – hopefully this weekend – to check out the action.
Regardless, minimally “2.9% financing and a very attractive lease” should be available for Prius buyers.
Anyone out there tasted the Prius waters this month?
Anyway, deals could be particularly great in Southern California, an area with the greatest oversupply of Prius hybrids according Bob Carter, group vice president and general manager-Toyota.
Check back next week for a follow up on this story.

In the market for a hybrid and thinking about leasing?
These are some pretty good deals on Honda Civic, Insight, CRZ, as well as the Toyota Prius. Check out http://www.fasttrackleasing.com/specials.htm
Well, I wouldn’t let consumer Reports make my decision, but I think their reporting is worth considering, especially considering all the IMA issues that Honda has had over the years. Still, I do find the manual version to be a very interesting commuter car. However, for the size, I still think the Prius is far more fuel efficient.
12k is not a lot of miles for starters. still, this this doesn’t seem like a “best prius deal ever”.

By the way, I got a quote for Prius V if you are interested…$400/month INCLUDING tax/registration….0$ down…12K miles a year, 36 months. ($31880 cap cost).
Good deal?
Forget Consumer Reports…go and drive the car…it’s fantastic. If you don’t need 4 doors and 4 seats, it’s incomparable to the Prius.
Also, there are plenty of people already getting mid-40 MPG figures with it. The problem with the car is it’s hard to resist to not push it…thus overall mileage is worse than a Prius.
But there’s no car like it and if you like its looks, it’s a great car. Believe me, go and test drive a manual version…you’ll really throw all these lame reviews out the window.
The bottom of the barrel model is still a nice car, Noz. Nonetheless, I understand wanting some of the extra features, I’m not sure I could buy another car without them. But, I’m not sure about the CR-Z. Consumer Reports hasn’t had the most favorable impression of the CR-Z. Add in the size and comparable features and I’d still go with the Prius.
Now if Honda brought over the Fit, then maybe I’d reconsider. Reports out of Japan indicate the Fit hybrid is easily Honda’s best hybrid.
Problem is that it’s a bottom of the barrel model…I was thinking about buying one but I really would like some features with the car.
I priced a Model V and it comes out well over $400/month for a lease with some money down.
I’d rather get a CRZ.
