Is hemp the key to the EV?
Could hemp composites make plug-ins more cost-effective
Hemp has a long history in the automotive industry, and Project Eve hopes to turn that history into a new beginning.
Project Eve is a consortium of 15 Canadian companies focused on creating electric vehicles with hemp-composite materials.
According to project members hemp fiber composites can replace many non-structural body parts making vehicles lighter and more efficient. More important, according to the group, hemp materials reduce manufacturing costs and save energy.
Obviously, if weight can be reduced, then electric range can be increased without increasing battery costs. Likewise, and perhaps even more compelling, using hemp enables Project Eve to redesign the automobile into more battery-friendly shapes and sizes. While thinking that far outside of the box might normally be counter-productive in terms of consumer acceptance, the marketing capabilities of hemp might resonate more with consumers than would be expected. Thus, perhaps an alternative product like hemp could be key to pushing consumers to think outside of the box when it comes to automobiles.
Now put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Many offices leave the machine turned on after hours or at night, and you won’t know about those faxes until the following morning, or after you’re back from a weekend. Even though I have mentioned above that you should be cautious about going straight for the cheapest internet fax service provider, take note that there really do exist some very good providers who do provide a cheap service.
i don’t disagree with that analysis. there is no case against hemp.
“If law-abiding church-going folks had any idea why hemp was really outlawed in 1937 they’d be growing it right alongside the rows of corn and tomatoes in their own backyards.”
