Honda steps up electrification programs in Japan

Honda is beginning a three year test on a number of electrification ideas, despite Honda’s contention at the Detroit Auto Show that hydrogen fuel cells were still the future, along with natural gas, hybrids and plug-ins in the interim.
Thus, Honda will be testing a number of different types of electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, as well as solar power and other forms renewable electricity.
Along with plug-in vehicles like the Fit EV and the Accord plug-in hybrid, Honda will be testing the EV-neo electric scooter and the MonPal ML200 electric buggy as optional forms of urban, electrified transportation according to MotorTrend.
