Toyota Prius deals already over?
Back to MSRPA few weeks ago, as a blood thirsty Congress began to really tear into Toyota, many Toyota dealers were willing to cut up to $1500 off MSRP on a new Toyota Prius, but those days appear to be ending.
In February, despite the recalls and mountains of bad press, Prius sales were still up 10 percent year on year in the US, and the Prius was still the top selling vehicle in Japan.
Certainly, you might still be able to find deals in some markets a bit longer, but in hot markets like the LA area, most good deals have probably already been made.

No worries...I'll be glad to buy from another dealer outside of LA if it means not giving business to them.
Let the suckers in LA pay premium for the same car.
Even in LA, however, you have to shop around.
During the gas spike, shopping around in LA was worth the effort as it could lead to saving thousands of $s.

Yeah... I heard you could get a Prius for only $3,500 above MSRP instead of the usual $5k. Ha ha ha!
Nice bit of information.
