looking more and more like that guy is a shyster.
I can easily understand how this can happen.
When you take your first flight lesson in an airplane you are usually taught how to recognize a stall and how to recover the aircraft. Your first instinct is to pull back on the stick rather than push forward which is necessary to recover the aircraft.
After viewing the video I realized one thing. The individual driving the car is a professional driver under controlled conditions. The video was probably rehearsed and video taped several times until every thing was just right before it was published.
I have known individuals who regardless of the number lessons they receive still end up putting oil into the radiator. I had a brother-in-law who was a genius but would consistently forget to put gas in his vehicles.
So could this really happen? I don't know for sure but maybe I should call and see if it was my brother-in-law.

you've got folks who sit at a traffic light peering into their rear view mirror wondering why the ambulance behind them is flashing it's lights and blaring it's sirens - never once realizing that they need to move.
you've got geezers and old ladies that stop on the accelerator instead of the brake and destroy a bank or convenience store.
so.. yes.. there are dumb clucks "out there" for sure.
I'm thinking this guy went past a cruiser while he was doing 90+ and knew he was in big trouble... and came up with "plausible deniability".
after all is said and done.. I'm betting they're gonna rip him a new one.
