In this global warming period company are come to make some eco friendly car in few days ago Toyota also launch this kind of car. This car also look so good.
The awards, given annually by journalists who test cars throughout the year, are often used by automakers in advertising. Vehicles are judged on innovation, design, safety, handling, driver satisfaction and value.
I absolutely love the Fusion hybrid. If I were in the market for a new car today, I would buy the Fusion hybrid.
Nonetheless, I'm a little bothered by this award.
Yes, the Fusion hybrid is a nice advance on the Camry hybrid, but the Camry hybrid is almost ready for a major renovation - its already somewhat 'old' technology.
Nonetheless, neither of these hybrids, however, show any real serious sales potential at this time.
Thus, when it comes to conventional hybrids, I think the bar has to include sales potential to be eligible for such an award. For that Ford hasn't accomplished much with the Fusion hybrid.
This award is no better than the Chevy Tahoe hybrid winning "green car of the year".
I would give this award to the Toyota Prius which sold in significant numbers worthy of such an award......
Actually, the Fusion hybrid is much more deserving than the Tahoe hybrid.
Still, North American Car of the Year suggests to me that the vehicle is capable of being a best selling vehicle in its class, or it is simply revolutionary in its class.
The Prius was revolutionary and it became a best selling vehicle in its class.
The Fusion hybrid hasn't really broken any new hybrid ground, nor are its sales numbers very exciting.
But, like the Oscars, I'm sure there are many agendas behind deciding which car wins the award.
