Politicians, Entertainers and Home-StatersWhen the Chevy Volt hits showrooms at the end of this year, it will only be available in Michigan, California and Washington, DC.
No word yet on final roll out plans for the rest of the US.

When I visited California this winter, I expected to see many hybrids on the roads. It did not happen. Now, I even tend to think that Wash. DC area has many more hybrids than California on average.
PS: no wonder they will start selling it here.
That's an interesting observation.
Far more hybrids are sold in California than in any other state, but considering California is such a large state, that might not mean much.
I wonder what the per capita breakdown is?
No doubt, DC is a key market for these vehicles, LB.
Per capita DC area is also on of the largest markets. In the top 3, if I remember correctly.
