Does any other automaker sell even 100,000 hybrids per year?
I don't think so. Worldwide, Honda might be close thanks to tax incentives in Japan for hybrids. In Japan, the Insight was around the 5th best selling vehicle for 2009. So, the Insight is a much bigger seller in Japan than in the US.
Outside of Honda, however, no one else is even close.
Ford is third at about 33,000 total hybrid sales in 2009.
