Toyota Prius a top used car buy
Go ahead and buy that old PriusSince 2001 the Toyota Prius has consistently earned "much better than average" reliability ratings according to Kelly Blue Book. Thus, the average Prius retains 40 percent of its value after 5 years compared to the average car, which only retains 20 to 25 percent of its value.
That makes the Prius a 'best used car buy' according to Forbes.

20 to 20 percent? I think you need to revise that. :)
Actually that makes it the best used car to sell not buy. You can buy a hundred other cars for better value then outdated technology being sold at a premium. Don't get me wrong I'm a hybrid fan but not when it comes to paying through the nose for a 5 year old car. no way.
kris-
You have a point, although i wouldn't call it outdated technology.
Still, for buyers of new Prius hybrids, it's good to know about the history of hybrids, and this data demonstrates the reliability of the prius.
