New BMW hybrid makes Volt a real bargain
X6 Active HybridIn December the BMW X6 Active hybrid will go on sale with a base price of $89,725
While the X6 hybrid hauls ass, going from 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds, is that really what hybrid consumers are looking for in a hybrid? Sure it's as loaded as can be, but $90,000 for a hybrid that averages less than 20 mpg?
Boy, makes $40,000 for a Chevy Volt look like a steal. Also, seems like more evidence that the Cadillac Converj could really dominate the green luxury market.

at least buyers can be more green douchebags.
Indigo incarnates
i don't think there's such thing as a "bargain car" from GM after that company got $80 billion in bailouts. At least BMW pays its own way and doesn't steal from the taxpayers.
you can definitely make that kind of argument, indigo. one researcher has claimed that US taxpayers are currently subsidizing every GM vehicle sold with about $12,000 when the bailout money is included.
