This was a bad idea. The U.S. market is ripe for a small pickup that gets decent mileage hybrid or not.
This was a different kind of pickup, so other hybrid pickups might still be possible from Toyota.
I was looking forward buying the hybird pickup.
I liked this hybrid pickup as well, and called for it to be built when I first saw it at its debut. I'll bet there will be some derivation of this vehicle in the future.
I was planning on buying 4 of them for my business have 3 tacoma and one tundra but they are getting up there in millage 150,000 miles I was hoping by the year end 2010. Was hoping on buying a Toyota but whom ever gets a hybrid truck that gets 25 to 35 mpg will get my bussines or a green diesel.
You could always check out the Silverado hybrid.
