AT&T to go hybrid, CNG
Toyota's natural gas hybridAT&T will buy 15,000 new vehicles over the next 10 years to replace its current fleet with more efficient vehicles. About 8,000 of the vehicles will be natural gas. The rest will be various hybrid vehicles, including plug-ins. Most will come from Ford (more).
Thus far, however, it doesn't appear that any of them will be natural gas hybrids.

Natural Gas Hybrids would be another great step forward. Using electric to power the engine would also make up for the loss in HP from lower energy content in the natural gas. (compared to a straight conversion, so by mpg)
I think they should be fully embraced. It's going to be hard to go fully electric anytime soon. Switching to CNG hybrids, let's more quickly move off oil to a cleaner fuel while helping develop the batteries for electrification in a hybrid package.
If this helps our auto industry I saw AT&T should be commended.
