Mini E at LA Auto Show - Mobile post
BMW was pretty excited to show off the Mini E electric car this morning. 150 mpg per charge. A little over 2 hour charge time. Top speed of almost 100 mph. And a 0 - 60 in a little over 8 seconds.
Sounds great.
Still, the lithium-ion battery pack takes up a huge amount of space in what would be the back seat.
More important, how much is this two seater going to cost? How will its price compare to the Volt?

Gee, we had a 2 seat car like this in 1997. It was called the EV1.
But it didn't have the handling of a BMW, JK.
