Don't buy that hybrid, gas prices are going down

Why do hybrid haters hate me so?

Yesterday, a Karl on Cars post claimed that as gas prices go down, so does the hybrid advantage. Wow. And if it gets darker there is less light?

Anyway, this whole gas thing has me thinking about what Angus MacKenzie recently claimed about who could have foreseen $4.00 gas prices and how short-sighted the US auto industry and many auto consumers have been. Perhaps gas prices are going to drop below $3.00 for the next 5 years, but I doubt it. Gas prices will recede at times during the next few years, but in the next 5 years we'll probably set new records.

Moreover, I recently checked out KBB and Toyota Prius resale value for my neighborhood in SoCal is extremely minimal. So, if I buy a Prius today at sticker, I'll recover my hybrid costs in a little over 4 years according to the latest Edmunds analysis, and after 5 years, my Prius will be worth just a couple thousand less than when bought?

And how much will a gas-guzzler be worth in 5 years? I'll stick with hybrid cars.

Honestly, for one...why would anyone want to listen to those douchebags on Edmunds.

If anyone buys a car or is interested in a car based on Edmund's opinions, they are in the loser category to begin with.

When someone buys an Edmunds magazine or goes online and reads their articles, they should automatically be sent a pair of dentures and very strong reading glasses.

They are a bunch of retards and nothing more.

And besides, even if fuel prices do go down...so what? His comment is the epitomy of why Americans are so dumb and retarded.

What he says is EXACTLY the same as the following scenerio....EXACTLY.

I go to the doctor and the doctor says I have 4 months to live because for the past 10 years, I've been eating nothing but fried food and burgers"

I have a triple bypass surgery done, have endured pain of needles, pipes, and exams for the past 6 months, and now, the doctor says I'm OK.

So tomorrow, I'll go and buy myself an double Whopper with bacon, fries, and supersized coke."

Do you see how retarded Americans are?

And at what cost are the fuel prices going to drop? At the cost of our environment (which we already clearly know people don't give a shit about). At the cost of killing another million people in Iraq?

What next people? The best thing for Americans is to feel some real pain so they know what it's like to be part of a global community. And this is coming...whether these idiots like it or not.

Indigo Incarnates

Of course, the gas prices drop a couple of months before each election so that the gullable Red State voters will keep re-electing rich Republicans.

And even if gasoline drops to $3/gallon, so what? That's still a heck of a lot higher than before Bush started the Iraq War.

Just for your own amusement, go to Karl on Car's website that Prius thing and read the last 3 inputs...you may enjoy the response I gave the jackass at the end.

He thinks he's smart...but that's one poor excuse for a journalist.
