Heading to Detroit for a Volt briefing
Latest Volt newsSo, we now know the Chevy Volt is going to be more expensive than planned - that really shouldn't come as a surprise. Still, with massive plug-in hybrid tax credits being proposed in Congress, and a GM that is willing to take an initial loss on the Volt, there are plenty of reasons to remain hopeful regarding the Volt. Nonetheless, GM has a lot of work to do before some Volt rubber hits the road. Thus, I'm on my way to Detroit today to find out the latest Volt news when I check out the Volt design studio and more tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll also be able to get a few updates on some of GM's other upcoming hybrid vehicles as well, especially the Saturn Vue hybrid.

I am weary of the tax credit situation for hybrid cars, Since Toyota and lexus hybrid's sold so well the tax credit for buying these cars has dried up, Also the tax credit is only allowed to be deducted in certain situations .
Hopefully this hybrid tax thing incentive works out better.
