Proof the hydrogen economy is real, now?

How to fuel the hydrogen highway?

You've received the e-mail, heard the stories, etc. - 'Power your car with water.' I think even MotorTrend's Technologue even wrote about this once, but now you can see a video that shows how a new form of electrolysis could convert just a few ounces of water into more than 100 miles worth of fuel, according to the inventor.

Is it fact or fiction? How much electricity is required? Is there another catch, or is the world on the verge of hydrogen revolution? - Thanks for the link Noz!

So what?

I've been hearing about this 'experiment' for a few years now, but i've never seen the video. I never wanted to because I simply didn't believe in the possiblity from the get go.

Since someone left a link to this on a different post, I thought I'd finally check out the video, which I found more interesting than I would have believed.

Since it seems one of the biggest impediments to the auto industry and to the energy paradigm is a complete lack of out-of-the-box thinking, odd-ball experiements such as this make you wonder what technologies are not even being considered simply because its not the way we've been doing things.
