Bush takes credit for US hybrid sales
OK, I'm exaggerating, a little - maybe? While calling for America to move to electric vehicles like the Chevy Volt, George Bush took some credit for current US hybrid vehicle sales.
"When I was first elected, there were virtually no hybrids on the roads. Today there is nearly a million. We're also investing in plug-in hybrids," Bush said. "And that day is coming."
I hate getting too political - most politicians are jackasses, regardless of party, but what a turd. Bush had the pulpit to make foreign oil dependency a real issue, a challenge to America to act, instead, he acted like Congress - talked a lot, spent a lot, accomplished little - maybe?

I have to laugh...Your right he is a turd. Funny thing is though they have spent over a billion on hydrogen research, not from water cracking but from petrol. So you have to look at where the money is going. Again he does nothing for the people, he only does for big business.
