Where's my Scion hybrid?

Where's my city hybrid?

There is an interesting article regarding how Toyota's Scion brand is morphing from a youthful vehicle into an adult vehicle on MSNBC.

Consequently, I again argue that Toyota could make a killing with a hybrid Scion. Imagine a hybrid car that could achieve 50+ mpg, with Scion-hype, that costs less than $17,000.

I bet such a vehicle is no more than a year away from concept, minimally.

Does a hybrid Scion - essentially a small, cheaper, 60 mpg Prius with Scion looks - make sense?

Its a call we will have to answer at ome point. Pricing is key. Its only a matter of time.

by the way,..I got this from a friend, pretty funny stuff. Thought to share this. Maybe they should've had one for gasoline dependent vehicles!

Well since its been about two years.. and still no hybrid Scion.. I guess you were wrong. Too bad. I love my xA, and I would love it a ton more if it were a hybrid. And it's WAY cuter than the xD.

Well, my focus was on city hybrids more than a Scion hybrid, although I think Scion is an interesting fit for hybrid technology, and i hope such a vehicle is forthcoming.

Nonetheless, Toyota has already acknowledged the possibility of an Auris hybrid, as well as confirming the future of the Yaris hybrid, which is exactly the kind of city hybrid i want.
