Prius sales fall 3%
No word on whether the reduction in Prius sales had anything to do with the reduction in Prius production. Earlier this year Toyota reduced production of the Prius to make room for the Toyota Camry hybrid. Consequently, much of this sales decline might be attributed to lack of availability.
Still, as far as hybrid cars are concerned, the Prius is still the undisputed king of sales.

I would have to say Prius sales being down is directly related to the Toyota Camry coming out. Toyota was selling as many Prius as they could make, so the demand was there.
And as for the price coming down on used Prius (or is that Prii?), more than likely that's because there are finally other used hybrids available. Given more choices, the buyers aren't willing to pay as much anymore.
