I think that every municipality throughout the developed world should only be purchasing hybrid vehicles. police,fire trucks, municpial vehicles and busses should all be hybridized. how can the government both local and federal expect people to conserve energy while they purchase crown victorias that sit and idle and other vehicles that are out of date and inefficient. the time to switch to all hybrid fleets for governmental entities is now.
