Nissan and GM to partner on hybrid vehicles?

According to recent reports, GM and Nissan will discuss hybrid vehicle collaboration. Currently, GM is finalizing its own hybrid technology, as is Nissan. Nonetheless, Nissan will lease hybrid technology from Toyota for its upcoming Altima hybrid. Some speculate this potential alliance might focus on collaborative buying of the parts for hybrid cars.
