Hyundai hybrids, something to this story?
There is something about this Hyundai hybrid story that I just can't shake. Over the last decade I've know several Hyundai owners. For the money, the say they love their vehicles.
Now Hyundai is preparing to sell hybrid vehicles in the U.S. built on proprietary technology. Unlike the Ford Escape hybrid, or the Nissan Altima hybrid, which use or will use Toyota hybrid technology, Hyundai will use its own technology, joining Honda as the only other hybrid players.
If the Accent hybrid is able to achieve Prius efficiency for $15,000, in addition to a 10 year warranty, it'll have fantastic potential in America.

if they can pull it off. I will be the first too purchase two of them....I have never got truly involved in anything political, or in line with a better global enveroment....but my used hybrid has me su wound up I just want to tell the world....
Glad your used hybrid has you so wound up!
It'll be interesting to see what happens with Hyundai hybrids. I hope that this isn't just hype.
With gas prices so high and GM and Ford focused on large hybrids, Hyundai could cause some real damage it seems.
Of course GM could always convert its almost $3 billion marketing budget to developing a quality fuel-efficient vehicle!
