Hybrid vehicle tax credits dying in House

According to early reports, the United States House of Representatives is not adding new tax credits for consumers who buy hybrid cars. Instead, the House's legislation is about mostly corporate incentives regarding oil, coal and nuclear power. The President's plan was not this lopsided against either consumers or renewables. What is wrong with House Republicans?

House Republicans don't care about the future of this country. JFK once said, "We all inhabit this planet together, we all breathe, the same air and we our all mortal." Obviously a polluted country is a HIGH priority for this administration and the right-wing chickenhawk agenda.

Unfortunately, I think that too many House Democrats, particularly those with UAW ties, also deserve a good bit of the blame.
